Refreshing, Energy-Boosting Smoothie Bowl

A delicious, cooling meal during the hot summer months, this smoothie bowl is packed with nutrients and tastes like dessert.

We’ve reached mid-July and it’s hot. We’re not craving our regular lunches full of cooked veggies and protein. We’re craving something cold, refreshing, satisfying, and energy-boosting. If you’re in the same boat, we have the recipe for you.

Smoothie bowls are an excellent way to jam a bunch of nutrients into one meal, plus it tastes like dessert. We like to add lots of veggies because they blend right in but amp up the fiber and nutrient density of the meal. We also like to make sure we are getting adequate protein in every single meal, so a high-quality protein powder is a must in any smoothie bowl. We also love adding Timeline Nutrition’s Urolithin A powder, Mitopure. Our favorite flavor is berry.

Think of Urolithin A as our cells’ sidekick to replace worn-out mitochondria and thus promote healthy aging and increased energy. Unfortunately, many of us don’t have adequate levels of Urolithin A in our bodies so supplementing with a product like Timeline Nutrition’s Mitopure is a good idea.

If you are active, you may benefit even more from taking Urolithin A. In a study called ATLAS published in Cell Reports Medicine, they concluded that “Urolithin A improves muscle strength, exercise performance, and biomarkers of mitochondrial health in a randomized trial in middle-aged adults.” We are also reading that some of the science communities are using it for preserving muscle mass, preserving cognition, and reducing inflammation, with no discernible downside risks. Bring on the Urolithin A.
