integratron and la copine
The Integratron in Landers, CA in the Mojave Desert, was built by inventor and UFO advocate George Van Tassel on a vortex of geomagnetic planes. Based on his telepathic communications with the Venusian aliens “The Integratron is a machine, a high-voltage electrostatic generator that would supply a broad range of frequencies to recharge the cell structure.”
George died before he completed his machine. Too bad, cellular regeneration could come in handy. His amazing building is still there, and you can take a “sound bath” in it. My experience in the dome was pleasant, restful, and sort of a lazy Saturday thing to do. No out-of-body experiences, but interesting in a weird way. The building itself is lovingly looked after and is itself worth seeing.
However, if you find yourself out in this part of the Mojave Desert, the highlight is an incredible gem, La Copine restaurant.

Fantastic food and super cool décor that would be expected in a place like Nolita in New York, rather than the scrub of the Mohave, it’s the brainchild of a couple of awesome youngish ladies with unerring style and mad cooking skills. Oh, the music is pretty great too. 100% on point and worth the drive.
