Andrew Macpherson, international Vogue photographer and AGEIST collaborator, is having his first exhibition and it’s a stunner. The theme is landscape, specifically the genre of the master of the black and white print, Ansel Adams. We have had a chance to get hold of some of the exhibition prints, and as one photographer reviewing another, these are some of the most sumptuously gorgeous prints I have ever seen. Standing on the shoulders of the master, Macpherson exceeds the original vision of Adams. In the disposable world of Instagram, it’s a joy to see a master like Andrew producing work like this. An equally lovely book was produced to accompany the show. If you are the sort who collects landscape photography, get one of these prints. They are incredible. The opening is this weekend at the ARCANE Space, 324 Sunset in Venice, CA Saturday the 12th, 6-8pm.
