Nir Barzilai: Increasing Healthspan with Metformin in the Time of COVID

The founder of the Institute for Aging Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Nir Barzilai is one of the leading pioneers of longevity research and a proponent of regarding aging as a treatable disease, just like any other disease. Nir has a new book Age Later: Health Span, Life Span and the New Science of Longevity. He is a strong advocate for using Metformin and intermittent fasting as proven methods of extending health span and life span. The future of aging will be to erase it at a cellular level.
