Vitamin B6 Toxicity Precaution

Last week, we wrote about a recent study that investigated the connection between vitamin B6 supplementation and reduced anxiety and depression. While vitamin B6 may be therapeutic for these conditions, we wanted to note the potential risk of taking too much. Vitamin B6 toxicity symptoms include “peripheral neuropathy, dermatoses, photosensitivity, dizziness, and nausea with long-term intake of dosages above 250 mg/day.” Never self-medicate or add new supplements/medications to your routine without consulting a medical professional and following the necessary steps.
