Recent research from the Babraham Institute “has developed a method to ‘time jump’ human skin cells by 30 years, turning back the ageing clock for cells without losing their specialised function.” The method is based on the Nobel Prize-winning technique used to make stem cells. The cells do not only appear to be younger but they function like cells that are 30 years younger, making this a revolutionary discovery for regenerative medicine. This advancement could help in wound healing and possible therapeutics for things like Alzheimer’s and cataracts.
