Detecting & Curing High Blood Pressure Cause

New research out of Queen Mary University of London and Barts Hospital, and Cambridge University Hospital has found “a new type of CT scan to light up tiny nodules in a hormone gland and cure high blood pressure by their removal. The nodules are discovered in one-in-twenty people with high blood pressure.” This is an important advancement because according to the Minister of State for Health Will Quince, “Around a third of adults in the UK have high blood pressure, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.”  With this new 10-minute scan, more people will be able to be cured of high blood pressure.
