We are going to try an experiment the next couple of weeks. If you are in a situation that you need some help with—career change, education challenge, something you don’t understand—I would like you to send me an email david@agei.st describing what you need help with and I will share it here in 2 weeks. Let’s make sure that the problem is solvable by the community, and let’s not have it be about financial support. We will select one or two over the next couple of weeks to broadcast to the community so that they can engage with it. When we post it, we will make it anonymous.
One of the things that millennials are much better at than we are, is exactly this: asking for help. We are hard wired against it. We need to get over it, and this may inspire us to do it in more areas of our lives.
We have tremendous capacity, and there are now a huge amount of us on AGEIST, so let’s use our community skills and put them to work for people who need it.
I am really excited about this idea and if it works, I would like to make it one of the keystones of AGEIST. So send us your needs and problems and let’s see if the community can contribute.
