Next Monday, Sept 24th, NYC. Following up with their massively successful first intergenerational mentoring event, our friends at Cirkel are at it again with a follow-up event. We all need to stay connected to the learning and wisdom across generational lines. This a fantastic initiative, and we support 100%. Get off the internet and meet some people in real life, mingle, get a mentor and a mentee. It’s going to be a great night. Here are the main speakers:
Charles Broskoski studied with the renowned tech artist Cory Arcangel before he became an engineer at Artsy, the digital platform for collecting and discovering new art. Now Charles has his own design-oriented social platform Are.na, which helps creative thinkers digitally organize and synthesize the masses of information and images available online.
Danika Cleary Laszuk has been part of major innovations in consumer technology since 2000. She started off at Hewlett-Packard shepherding the company’s first consumer laptop before heading to Apple for the first four generations of the iconic iPod, to Jawbone where “wearables” became a real part of the modern lifestyle with products like the UP Fitness Tracker. She is now running betaworks camp, an accelerator program to support tech entrepreneurs and future start-ups.
