What if AI could analyze your health data and tell you exactly what to do to live longer? Guy Leitersdorf, CEO of Longevity AI, joins us to explain how his platform uses real-time biomarkers, behavioral science, and AI to optimize health decisions. Instead of one-size-fits-all advice, Longevity AI acts as a personal health coach, adjusting its guidance based on your habits, preferences, and biological markers. On this week’s episode of The AGEIST Podcast, we discuss the five key aging conditions, the role of real-time health nudges, and how AI-powered insights can help physicians move from reactive care to true preventative medicine.

The Rise of AI in Personalized Health

Preventative medicine has long been an aspiration rather than a reality. Most people only seek medical advice when something goes wrong, and even the best physicians struggle to synthesize massive amounts of patient data. Guy Leitersdorf’s Longevity AI is attempting to change that by bringing artificial intelligence into the heart of personalized healthcare.

Unlike traditional health tracking apps, Longevity AI aggregates real-time biometrics—including blood tests, genetics, wearables, and lifestyle data—and applies advanced behavioral science to create actionable recommendations. Leitersdorf describes it as “a copilot, a friend, a coach” that delivers real-time nudges tailored to what each user is actually willing to do.

Targeting the Five Horsemen of Aging

The core focus of Longevity AI is addressing what Leitersdorf calls the “Five Horsemen” of aging: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, dementia, and metabolic disorders. With access to longitudinal health records from 1.6 million people, the AI can predict individual risks and suggest interventions long before symptoms appear.

For example, if an individual’s heart health is declining, the AI might suggest a targeted exercise regimen rather than a generic fitness plan. It adapts based on behavioral responses—some users might receive a push notification, others an email, depending on their preferences. The system continuously refines its approach to maximize engagement and adherence.

A New Role for AI in Medicine

Physicians today are often overwhelmed with fragmented patient data. Longevity AI acts as an integrator, “harmonizing all their service providers, from running apps to genetic reports,” Leitersdorf explains. Rather than replacing doctors, the AI enhances their ability to deliver data-driven, preventative care in less time.

In a world where most medical visits still focus on treating illness rather than optimizing health, Longevity AI offers a glimpse into a future where AI-powered coaching becomes a daily part of longevity strategy. As Leitersdorf puts it, “We’re not just telling you what you should do—we’re making it easy for you to actually do it.”
